The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries. The role requires technical skills, patient care, and strict adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and imaging equipment to produce radiographic images of the body.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow radiologic protocols and physician instructions.
• Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment as required.
• Ensure radiation safety measures are in place and adhered to.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals.
• Process and review images for clarity and quality before submission.
• Follow infection control and hospital policies strictly.
• Report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely maintenance.

Qualification & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Radiologic Technology / X-Ray Technician.
• Valid license or certification as required by local regulations.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred (fresher can also apply if trained).
• Knowledge of radiation safety and equipment handling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in emergency and high-pressure situations.
• Basic computer skills to manage digital imaging systems.

Work Conditions:

• Hospital or diagnostic imaging department setting.
• Rotational shifts, including weekends or holidays, if required.
• Exposure to radiation (with safety measures).
• Physically demanding — standing for long hours, lifting patients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹9,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
