Workday Functional Finance Delivery Lead - Director

As a Director in the Workday team at Huron, you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving Finance engagements, architecting solutions, and exceeding client expectations. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with senior leaders, building strong client relationships, and contributing to pre-sales and solutioning activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently lead and drive Workday Finance engagements for successful delivery and client satisfaction. - Serve as a solution architect and delivery leader, managing all project phases from estimation to execution. - Act as Engagement Leader / Project Manager (EM-PM) for multiple projects of varying scale simultaneously. - Collaborate with clients and internal senior leaders to design and implement goal-achieving solutions. - Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients as a primary customer-facing representative. - Translate complex business requirements and meeting discussions into clear documentation for project teams. - Support pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, solution proposal development, and estimation. - Train and mentor staff in project management and technical areas to foster professional development. - Demonstrate thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, or industry forums. **Requirements:** - Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. - Proven experience in Workday Finance implementations with successful delivery leadership. - Workday Finance certification is mandatory. - Strong functional expertise in the Finance domain to architect and deliver solutions independently. - Experience in estimating, implementation planning, and project management. - Exposure to pre-sales, RFP processes, and solution proposal development. - Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal ability. - Ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives through expertise, maturity, and professionalism. - Strong analytical skills to translate discussions into actionable documentation. - Willingness and ability to travel as required and work extended hours when necessary. **Preferences:** - Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking engagements and/or publications. - Experience in consulting environments, preferably with exposure to large-scale transformation projects.
