Job Description

Role Overview: As a Lead HRIS at Carelon Global Solutions (CGS), you will play a crucial role in optimizing the Workday Core HR and Compensation modules to support the business needs. You will act as a key liaison between HR, HRIS, Technical, and business teams to ensure the Workday platform is aligned with the organization's goals and requirements. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who possesses expertise in both functional HR needs and technical aspects of the Workday platform. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the lead advisor and subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Core HR and Compensation functionality, ensuring alignment with business objectives - Advocate for Workday best practices and governance throughout the enterprise - Contribute to strategic roadmap planning for HR Technology, focusing on scalability, automation, and compliance - Manage end-to-end configuration changes for core HR and compensation modules - Oversee complex Workday configurations to support enterprise design, policy changes, and localized requirements - Gather and influence HRIS business application requirements to address diverse business process needs - Develop and maintain HRIS solutions for complex business processes - Collaborate with development staff to ensure requirements are incorporated into system design and testing - Consult with business partners on HRIS applications and technology implementations - Lead projects impacting data maintenance on HRIS applications - Provide guidance to team members and serve as an expert for the team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree - Workday Certified (an added advantage) Experience: - Minimum 5-7 years of functional Workday experience with expertise in Core HR and Compensation modules - Experience in at least one or two end-to-end Workday implementation projects Skills and Competencies: - Proficiency in Workday Core HR and Compensation modules - Hands-on experience in end-to-end Workday implementation projects, HR data migration, and integrations - Strong consulting skills and ability to manage customer expectations - Analytical mindset with proficiency in analytics and reporting tools - Excellent communication skills to engage with functional and management audiences, as well as external clients - Knowledge of HRIS, Program Management tools, and MS Office Company Details: Carelon Global Solutions (CGS) is a healthcare solutions company dedicated to simplifying complex operational processes and improving the healthcare system.
