Workday Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Workday Consultant to join our Workday Team. This is a critical full-time role focused on supporting and enhancing our Workday platform, with specific expertise in HCM and Recruiting modules and general knowledge of other Workday modules. The consultant will manage ticket triage, gather functional requirements, and support project scoping for outsourced initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ticket Management and Functional Support
• • Review and categorize tickets submitted to the Workday queue.
• • Collaborate with business partners to prioritize tickets and gather additional requirements.
• • Ensure timely resolution and documentation of support issues.
• Module Expertise and Configuration
• • Provide expert-level support for Workday HCM and Recruiting modules.
• • Offer general support across other Workday modules as needed.
• Project Scoping and Documentation
• • Create scoping documents for projects that require external consulting support.
• • Work with internal teams to assess effort and feasibility.
• Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
• • Present updates and findings in weekly meetings with stakeholders.
• • Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Workday consulting or support roles.
• Specific expertise in Workday HCM and Recruiting modules.
• General knowledge of other Workday modules such as Compensation, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Workday ticketing systems and support workflows.
• Familiarity with Workday reporting tools and analytics.
• Exposure to project management and vendor coordination.
• Ability to create and present scoping documents and functional specifications.
