WordPress/WooCommerce Developer

We’re looking for a talented WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to join our in-house development team. In this role, you will work from our office to build, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress websites and WooCommerce-based eCommerce solutions for a diverse range of clients.

You should have strong hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce, along with a solid understanding of clean coding practices, theme/plugin development, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores.Build custom themes and plugins based on client specifications.Customize WooCommerce templates, checkout functionality, and product displays using hooks and filters.Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping modules.Implement on-page SEO strategies (meta tags, schema markup, page speed optimization).Maintain existing websites, fix bugs, and perform routine content and feature updates.Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and SEO.Use Git for version control and ensure clean code deployment.Work collaboratively with team members in an office environment and manage multiple ongoing projects.Implement basic SEO (on-page setup, meta tags, schema, etc.).Maintain existing websites, troubleshoot bugs, and make content updates.Can handle complete website builds independently.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress and WooCommerce development.Strong skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, custom post types, taxonomies, and WP_Query.Solid experience with WooCommerce hooks, filters, and template customizations.Familiarity with page builders like Elementor and Gutenberg.Experience with performance optimization and security best practices.Proficiency in using Git and local development tools (such as XAMPP, Local, or Docker).Ability to manage tasks and timelines efficiently in a team-based office setting.
