Job Description

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Backend Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites and plugins. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backend logic, database structure, and custom WordPress development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Work with APIs, RESTful services, and third-party integrations.
Optimize website performance, database queries, and security.
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and QA teams to deliver quality projects.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Manage website hosting, migration, and version control (Git).

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, WordPress Core, and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with Custom Post Types, ACF, and WooCommerce.
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with plugin customization and theme development.
Familiarity with cPanel, Git, and debugging tools.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of modern frameworks or headless WordPress.
Experience in API-based or plugin marketplace projects.
Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
