Wordpress Developer

Remotee is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality websites.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other services into WordPress.
• Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to maintain security and functionality.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).
• Proficiency in theme and plugin customization.
• Familiarity with WordPress security best practices.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce development.
• Knowledge of REST API and headless WordPress.
• Familiarity with web hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, etc.).
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Figma, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
