Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate WordPress Developer to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in designing, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless user experience.
This role requires a combination of strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and creativity in implementing custom solutions for diverse industries. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize WordPress themes and templates from scratch or using page builders.
• Convert HTML designs into WordPress themes with pixel-perfect precision.
• Develop, customize, and extend WordPress plugins to meet client requirements.
• Implement and optimize WooCommerce extensions for eCommerce solutions.
• Create and maintain widgets, shortcodes, and custom functionalities.
• Manually optimize websites for GTMetrix and Core Web Vitals performance scores.
• Implement and troubleshoot AMP pages for mobile-first optimization.
• Integrate and configure multiple payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay, etc.).
• Develop and integrate custom APIs and ensure smooth cross-platform integrations.
• Handle WordPress cloud deployments (AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Work with 3rd party services and external APIs for data exchange.
• Ensure website security, backup management, and bug fixing.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, and web technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience in WordPress theme & plugin development.
• Proficiency with WooCommerce setup, customization, and scalability.
• Expertise in website speed optimization (manual techniques preferred).
• Understanding of SEO best practices and schema integrations.
• Familiarity with AMP, REST APIs, GraphQL, and JSON integrations.
• Experience in cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Knowledge of cPanel, DNS, hosting, and server-side deployments.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development is a plus.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of proven WordPress development experience.
• Portfolio of live WordPress websites/projects is a must.
