Wordpress Developer

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. You will develop custom WordPress solutions to meet client requirements, ensuring high performance and availability. You will also collaborate closely with the design and development teams to turn complex ideas into fully functional websites and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Custom Theme Development: Create custom WordPress themes based on design specifications, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
• Plugin Development: Develop and customize WordPress plugins to extend the functionality of websites.
• Website Maintenance: Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks to ensure websites are secure and running efficiently.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
• SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and ranking on search engines.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support.
• Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following WordPress coding standards.
• Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites and applications to ensure they are error-free.
• Responsive Design: Ensure websites are optimized for various devices and browsers for a seamless user experience.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance by implementing best practices for speed and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and back-end frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
