Job Summary:

The Wood Depot Manager oversees daily operations of the wood storage facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, safety compliance, and excellent customer service. They coordinate with suppliers, handle staff, and maintain the depot to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the wood depot.
• Ensure proper inventory control, including receiving, storing, and issuing wood materials.
• Coordinate procurement of wood supplies and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate depot staff.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
• Track stock levels and prepare reports on inventory status.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the depot area.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse or depot management, preferably in wood or construction materials.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in a safety-conscious environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹150,000.00 per year
