WMS Functional Consultant

Job Role : WMS Functional consultant Logistics

Job Overview:

He/she is responsible for managing internal stakeholders, external partners, WMS tool implementation and hypercare support at client’s end. He/she should have strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. He/she should have experience in warehousing operations.

• Independently manage WMS implementation at client warehouses
• Good understanding of warehousing processes and modules in a typical WMS tool
• Work with end users to troubleshoot and query resolution
• Should be able to answer business queries and parallely work with product team for issues resolution/enhancements.
• Supporting Change Management activities to prepare the client for deployment and adoption (Change Program, Operating Model & Organizational alignment, Communications, Trainings)
  

Requirements

Must have:

• Strong understanding of Supply chain, warehousing, and logistics
• 2-4 years of experience of working in warehousing setup and/or exposure to WMS tools
• Strong communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment
• Aptitude for analysing processes and operational data
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Shift working mandatory. Candidate should be open to work at client’s warehouse location and work in evening/night shifts as well on rotational basis.

Good to have

• Prior experience in WMS tool configuration & implementation
• Exposure of working in warehouses
• Prior IT implementation experience

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization
