Wiring Harness Design Engineer

Experience: 02+ Years

Desired Competency:

1. Bachelor (or) Masters in Electrical (or) Electronics Engineering

2. Good knowledge in automobile, especially in the domain of 

Electrical Wiring harness & Battery cables.

3. Experience in Design and development of Wiring harness & Battery 

cables.

4. Strong knowledge in Engineering basics, Drawing standards like 

ISO/DIN standards.

5. Good and strong knowledge in Engineering design software like NX

& Capital H / XC. Should be able to handle Complex assemblies.

6. Hands on Experience in UGNX (UNIGRAPHICS) of wiring harness 

routing.

7. Hands on Experience in CHS tools. – 2D drawing creation.

8. Hands on Experience in CHS tools Schematic creation ( Logic).

9. Hands on Experience in UGNX bracket design.

10. Experience in Product Life cycle management and Engineering 

change management.

11. Expertise in MS-Excel and PowerPoint

12. Fluent English language (technical) & communication skills

Job Role:

1. Understanding purpose and application of Electrical Wiring harness & Battery cables and Mounting parts in commercial vehicles and make alternate design
2. Able to benchmark and create multiple design proposals
3. Make high quality drawings and specification documents
4. Interacting with design and development team for component development
5. Strong team player and work with multi-disciplinary function for design and development
6. Learn and apply knowledge in bringing new design

7. Able to handle the design tasks independently
