As a Windows OS/HW New Product Introduction (NPI) engineer specialist at Align, your role involves integrating Microsoft's Windows OS knowledge into the product development lifecycle and aligning it strategically with internal products. Your expertise in Windows OS, CPU, RAM, and endpoint communication will be crucial in troubleshooting technical issues related to Windows OS and hardware, managing different versions of Windows, addressing integration issues, providing technical support, and ensuring security and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS to effectively guide and integrate it within the organization's product development lifecycle. - Stay updated on the Windows OS roadmap, anticipate upcoming changes, and leverage new features for product enhancement. - Provide technical support for Windows OS and hardware-related issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware integration issues. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of CPU, memory, and Windows OS endpoint communication. - Evaluate and communicate the impact of hardware decisions on software functionality during the NPI process. - Tailor Windows OS integration strategies for large-scale deployments in an enterprise environment. - Investigate technical issues, ensure successful installation and configuration of Windows OS, and bridge the gap between software and hardware teams. - Preferably have familiarity with GRC frameworks, particularly in the medical device industry. - Ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulations in NPI processes. - Assist in implementing security measures and processes. - Supervise the implementation of new features and updates. - Aid in preparing and executing pen tests on devices. Qualification Required: - 4+ years of experience as an NPI, OS/HW/SW, or Sr. IT Endpoint Engineer with a focus on Windows OS integration and hardware management. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience with Microsoft Windows OS, hardware components, troubleshooting technical issues, and enterprise environments. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to oversee feature implementation, manage technical issues, and ensure successful Windows OS installation and configuration in various environments.
