Window Server Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Windows L1 Engineer to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Windows Server management and a passion for enhancing and maintaining IT systems. They will be responsible for supporting our Windows Server environments and ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role is crucial for providing excellent technical support and fostering a collaborative work environment that enables our organization to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Provide first-level support for Windows Server issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and problems.

- Monitor system performance, ensuring high levels of availability and security across the infrastructure.

- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server operating systems and related applications.

- Perform routine system backups and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and new features.

- Document technical processes and maintain knowledge base articles to improve service efficiency and knowledge sharing.

- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support for issues related to Windows Server and IT infrastructure.

- Participate in on-call rotation as required to ensure continuous support.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Bachelors degree in any field with a strong interest in IT.

- 3 to 5 years of experience working with Windows Server environments.

- Proficient knowledge of Windows Server administration and management.

- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts and best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and end-users.

- Certifications in Windows Server are a plus, but not mandatory.

- A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development is essential.
