Windchill Customization & Decustomization Engineer

• Perform Windchill customization activities including developing, configuring, and deploying new functionalities using Java, JSP, and XML.
• Manage de-customization projects, simplifying or removing legacy custom code to align with the latest Windchill versions and OOTB (Out-of-the-Box) capabilities.
• Analyze existing Windchill environments to identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization.
• Develop and maintain workflow templates, object lifecycle configurations, and access control rules.
• Implement Windchill upgrades and migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and deployment validation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, change logs, and test cases.
• Support Windchill system administration, troubleshooting, and user support when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Windchill PLM development and support.
• Strong knowledge of Windchill customization, configuration, and upgrade methodologies.
• Experience in de-customization projects (identifying, analyzing, and removing customizations).
