Roles and responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor the status of people, processes, and materials across multiple customer wind turbine projects. Manage inter-project material planning and allocation (e.g., identify unused components at one customer site and reassign to another as needed). Track delivery timelines, site readiness, and installation schedules to ensure smooth project execution. Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, site teams, and customer project managers to align dependencies and resolve bottlenecks. Maintain real-time visibility of inventory (at plant, in transit, and at customer sites) and proactively identify optimization opportunities. Flag risks and delays and coordinate cross-functional responses. Ensure documentation and status reporting is updated and shared with stakeholders regularly. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and SCM teams to resolve technical issues related to component readiness and project compatibility. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Industrial Management MBA or PG in Operations Management (preferred) Experience in renewable energy, wind turbine, or heavy engineering industries is a strong plus. Designation: Deputy Manager Profile: Wind Turbine Blade Quality Department- Quality Location: Mumbai Responsibilities:- Blade Quality Control & Assurance : Oversee the entire blade production process to ensure blades meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections and quality audits at various stages of the manufacturing process, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final blade quality assurance. Manage and perform mechanical and structural testing to verify the strength, durability, and reliability of blades. Identify and investigate quality issues, root causes, and implement corrective actions in the manufacturing process. Supplier & Manufacturing Oversight : Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for materials and processes used in blade production. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party testing laboratories for certification and validation of blade quality. Lead and support quality improvement initiatives with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes and reduce defects. Testing & Evaluation : Supervise and review testing of blades under real-world conditions, including fatigue, stress, and environmental exposure tests. Ensure that blades undergo the necessary testing protocols before deployment, including static, dynamic, and accelerated life-cycle tests. Interpret data and results to make recommendations for design improvements or production adjustments. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed records of blade quality inspections, test results, and compliance reports to support audits and certifications. Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders on blade performance, quality trends, and any necessary improvements. Ensure all relevant documentation is in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, etc.). Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support : Collaborate with R&D, design engineers, and production teams to implement improvements in blade design and manufacturing techniques. Jawara, Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh) Role & responsibilities Monitoring of O&M activities of the assigned wind plants (like coordinating with OEMs for WTGs maintenance Monitoring breakdowns downtime and performance Daily and Monthly Generation Reports with OEMs Monthly power curve validation Invoice submission to Discoms Liasioning with site agencies like (Discom and Transco). Completion of execution of the assigned projects Collaborate with procurement, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure availability of critical spares. Monitor inventory levels and lead times to optimize stock and minimize downtime for clients. Work closely with engineering and service teams to identify correct parts based on turbine make, model, and serial numbers. Ensure compatibility and adherence to safety and performance standards. Track customer orders from quotation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Coordinate logistics and documentation for domestic and international shipments. Analyze turbine fleets, maintenance cycles, and market trends to forecast spares demand. Participate in pricing strategy development and margin optimization. Maintain detailed records of quotations, sales, service reports, and customer feedback Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5-10 years of experience in field technical services of turbine. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. 510 years of experience in turbine spare parts, preferably in power generation. Strong understanding of gas/steam/wind turbine components (e.g., blades, bearings, seals, nozzles, rotors). Familiarity with OEMs Industries. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and spare part lists (BoMs).
