Wind Resource Analyst

As a candidate for the role at ENGIE, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Energy Yield Assessment (EYA) reports. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting pre-feasibility studies and site assessments to determine suitable met-mast locations for wind energy projects. - Designing and developing wind farm layouts, taking into account factors such as wind patterns, terrain, and environmental impact. - Analyzing raw wind data, including wind speed and direction, to assess the potential power generation of wind energy systems. - Supporting new unit and service proposals through Wind Resource Assessment (WRA), Annual Energy Production (AEP) assessments, noise propagation assessments, and developing enhancement options. - Contributing to the improvement of WRA methods in terms of speed, productivity, and accuracy. - Collecting and analyzing wind data from various sources like meteorological towers, remote sensing devices, and historical weather data. - Ensuring the accuracy and quality of wind data through data cleansing and validation. - Developing site-specific wind turbine layouts and configurations. - Conducting complex engineering analyses to evaluate wind resources at potential project sites. - Delivering comprehensive reports and presentations to aid decision-making and project development. - Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, including reports and manuals. You will be part of the GBU Renewables & Flexible Power business unit in the REN AMEA - India division of ENGIE Energy India Private Limited. The ideal candidate for this position should have more than 3 years but less than 15 years of relevant experience along with a technical qualification.
