Responsibilities You will be required to: To assist in delivering a range of projects relating to infrastructure design and planning To train new staffs in the team. Take new challenges and initiatives. Develop project deliverables, particularly drawings and reports in accordance with client scope, budget and quality requirements. Qualification Diploma in Civil Engineering/BE in Civil Engineering Requirements Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers. Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment. Should have a clear and demonstrable record of developing technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and experience working in detailing experience involving work associated with Infra projects. Extensive experience of detailing water, wastewater & infrastructure projects. Experience of working in a common data environment platform and managing BIM data though out the project lifecycle. Understanding of key principles of information management as set out in ISO 19650. Able to collaborate and work effectively within a multidiscipline and diverse team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Managing, Coordinating and supporting the project teams with the resolution of design issues and clashes, using tools such as Navisworks, BIM 360, BIM Track and Revizto Prepare and manage engineering plans and project documents. Evaluate engineering alternatives and resolve technical issues. Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner. Research and follow jurisdictional requirements unique to each project. Review and draft rough sketches, drawings, etc. as provided by the Project Engineer. Determine scale and perform mathematical calculations that require knowledge of geometry, algebra, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions. Follow BIM and CAD standards. Create, edit, and label alignments, Civil 3D parcels, and corridors. Create, use, and edit Civil 3D labels. Create feature lines and surfaces. Manage, data reference, label and interact with a Civil 3D surface. Perform roadway design, including creating corridors, subassemblies, road FG, contour grading, and surface cleanup/manipulation through Tin/points. Use Civil 3D to design plan and profiles of utilities, including using and creating pipe networks, editing and changing parts and styles, catch basin sizing/spacing and minimum cover, manhole sizing/spacing and minimum cover, hydrant spacing, and creating waterlines in profile with deflection and exaggeration, per jurisdictional requirements.

vConstruct a Pune based international construction technology company is seeking a Project Engineer for Site Infrastructure with 3-5 years of commercial construction experience. Position Overview Project Engineer Site Infrastructure creates Building Information Models (BIM), i.e., 3D/4D/5D computer models / simulations for commercial construction projects using Virtual Construction and Design (VDC) tools and methods. Minimum Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess: Educational Background : Bachelors degree or higher in any AEC Domain ( preferably Civil/Construction Management ) or closely related field. Prior Work experience : 3+ years of experience in Civil BIM at LOD 350 and above (Model capable of aiding Installation on field). Software Skillset : Proficiency with BIM Authoring and Analysis tools: Expert Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D Basic understanding of Revit Suite of products (Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP) Advanced understanding of Civil construction documents with understanding of architectural and structural construction documents. Expert Knowledge of Navisworks Additional Knowledge of 3D AutoCAD based products Additional Knowledge of using Dynamo/other plugins in Revit for solving repetitive problems. Principal Responsibilities Include: Drawing Interpretation: Expert Knowledge in reading Civil and Landscape design drawings. Ability to compare 2D and 3D data between the different versions and identify deviations. Model Authoring: Develop high precision models for majorly Civil and Landscape occasionally per project needs. Read and understand Regional US Building codes and able to translate it into the models. Ability to work with Parametric Revit Families. Ability to work within Autodesk Construction Cloud environment. Produce dimensioned drawings for layout from the models. (Plan and Profile) Quality Checks: Ability to perform various Quality Checks on the Models to validate models for things like: - Model Completeness with respect to design documents - Model Alignment with respect to other trade models - Model Sanity: no duplication of data, no errors and omissions, continuity of systems between the different points of connection. Ability to capture as-built information and compare it with BIM to verify alignment and Quality Checks on construction put in place. Clash Detection and Coordination: Perform Model based coordination amongst different building systems using tools like Navisworks Clash Detection, etc. Engage in BIM coordination meetings between different trades. Suggest solutions to problems and conflicts through accurate interpretation of contract documents and thorough understanding of constructability. Communication and work ethics: Ability to confidently communicate with onsite project teams in meetings to coherently convey project updates, complex issues, etc. Effective participation in team environment A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
