Infrastructure Engineer

**Job Description** As an Infrastructure Engineer (Wet Utilities) at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners), you will be responsible for performing design/analyses calculations related to wet utilities such as potable water, sewer, stormwater, and highway drainage. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting general arrangements, layouts, plans & profiles. - Researching and preparing design options and documents. - Preparing engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, specifications, and designs. - Providing technical guidance to CAD Designers and junior Engineers working on the same project. - Interacting with clients through meetings and presentations in a confident and positive manner. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and/or Masters in Water Resources Engineering/Environmental/Hydraulics Engineering discipline. - 6-15 years of relevant work experience in infrastructure engineering design, particularly water, wastewater, and storm drainage networks. - Previous experience in modelling development using tools such as Sewer Gems, Water Gems, HEC-HMS, HEC RAS, InfoWorks ICM, WS Pro, Civil 3D, Navisworks, etc. - Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy. - Strong report writing skills and the ability to write clear and concise reports. - Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal communication, initiative, motivation, and a team player. - Experience working internationally, especially in Africa and the Middle East, would be an advantage.
