Welding Supervisor

Job description

Ø To supervise all welding activities and to always ensure the quality of the weld and welder’s qualifications.

Ø To co-ordinate all activities required to direct and control welding activities.

Ø To inspect and ensure that the weld shall be without any defect and meets the requirements of the company, customers and the international standards.

Ø To assist the project by providing the relevant and applicable WPS, evaluating the causes of defects and guiding the assigned welding group including welding inspector and welders.

Ø To direct and coordinate with technical personnel in performing inspections to ensure workers’ compliance with established welding procedures, restrictions and standards.

Requirements:

1.) Bachelor Engineer/ Diploma in Welding Technology.

2.) Candidates with ASNT Level II in UT/RT/LPT/MPI are preferred

3.) Candidates with CSWIP/AWS CWI certifications are preferred

4.) Must be fully aware of all the welding process and relevant international codes

5.) Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in welding, as welding supervisor at any manufacturing or piping industry related to Oil & gas, Petrochemicals. Power, refineries and other sectors with appropriate knowledge.

6.) Experience in valve manufacturing industries is an added advantage.

7.) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Pay: ₹59,500.00 - ₹67,000.00 per month
