Description

We are seeking an experienced Welding & Fabrication Supervisor to lead our welding team and oversee fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes and management, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily welding and fabrication operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Manage a team of welders and fabricators, providing guidance and support.
Develop and implement welding procedures and standards to meet project requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate with project managers to align welding and fabrication schedules with project timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to welding and fabrication processes.
Train and mentor new employees on welding techniques and safety practices.

Skills and Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in welding and fabrication supervision.
Strong knowledge of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS).
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
