Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Welding Engineer position located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Welding Engineer will oversee welding procedures, conduct welding inspections, and ensure quality standards are met. The role involves working with materials using techniques such as laser welding and arc welding, analyzing metallurgy properties, and managing quality control processes to support project requirements. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and supervisors to achieve project goals is an important aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in welding techniques such as Laser Welding and Arc Welding
• Proficiency in Quality Control and Welding Inspection practices
• Knowledge of Metallurgy and its applications in welding and materials analysis
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field
• Experience in the electro-mechanical or marine/offshore industry is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site
