Welder/Sheet Metal Worker

As a skilled Welder / Sheet Metal Fabricator, your role will involve fabricating, welding, and assembling sheet metal components to precise specifications. You should have strong experience in welding and sheet metal fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques on sheet metal, aluminum, steel, and other materials according to blueprints and job specifications. - Utilize tools like shears, guillotines, and plasma cutters for precise cutting of metal to required dimensions and shapes. - Interpret and follow detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to determine project requirements. - Assemble fabricated parts ensuring proper alignment and functionality, and install them as needed. - Ensure high-quality standards by inspecting finished products for defects and conducting necessary finishing work. - Operate various fabrication machinery including CNC punch presses, brakes, and rolling machines. - Safely handle and store materials, maintaining organized inventory. - Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean workspace, and comply with safety standards. - Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and contribute to team goals.
