✅ Role Overview

We are hiring a

Web Smart TV / Angular Developer

with a strong front-end development background and experience building OTT (Smart TV) applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with

older JavaScript stacks

, optimizing performance, and delivering a seamless experience across various smart TV platforms.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Smart TV OTT applications using Angular and JavaScript (ES6/ES5).
• Optimize performance related to memory and CPU usage for Smart TV platforms.
• Work with profiling tools to troubleshoot and enhance application performance.
• Ensure compatibility across older and modern browser stacks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.
• Experience with app store submissions for platforms such as LG, Samsung, Panasonic (Viera Connect), Hisense (VIDAA), Xbox, PlayStation (PS4/PS5) is a plus.
  

✅ Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of front-end development experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Angular
• Minimum 1 year of experience in OTT / Smart TV app development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6/ES5
• Experience with profiling tools, memory/CPU optimization
  

➕ Nice To Have

• Prior experience with Smart TV store submission processes (e.g., LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Xbox, PS)

• This is a contractual position for 8 months
• Strictly onsite role in Chennai (Thalavaram) – 5 days working
