About the Role

Web3 Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Perform
security audits
of smart contracts written in Solidity, Vyper, Rust, or other blockchain languages.
Conduct
threat modeling
and risk assessments for blockchain protocols, dApps, and wallets.
Monitor on-chain activity to detect and respond to
suspicious behavior, exploits, and anomalies
.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure
secure SDLC
practices and integrate security early in the development process.
Analyze known vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, flash loan attacks, oracle manipulation) and stay updated on
emerging threats
in the Web3 space.
Build and maintain
automated tooling
for static/dynamic analysis, fuzz testing, and threat detection.
Participate in
incident response
, post-mortems, and remediation efforts after security events.
Assist in writing clear
security documentation
, best practices, and policies.
Contribute to
bug bounty
programs and coordinate responsible disclosure with ethical hackers and external researchers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong understanding of
Ethereum
, EVM, and other blockchain protocols (e.g., Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot).
Experience auditing smart contracts using tools such as
Slither, MythX, Foundry, Echidna
, or
Hardhat
.
Proficiency in at least one smart contract language:
Solidity, Vyper, Rust, Move
, etc.
Familiarity with
Web3 security vulnerabilities
(e.g., reentrancy, underflow/overflow, front-running, MEV).
Good understanding of
cryptography
, particularly in decentralized systems.
Experience with
SIEM tools
, log analysis, and/or blockchain explorers like Etherscan or Tenderly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
