Job Description

You will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing WordPress hosting environments as a skilled Web Server Administrator. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing and maintaining web servers, such as cPanel, WHM, VPS, and cloud hosting. - Installing, configuring, and optimizing WordPress hosting environments. - Performing regular server monitoring, performance tuning, and load management. - Managing backups, restores, and migrations of WordPress websites. - Implementing and maintaining server security with firewalls, SSL, malware scanning, and brute-force protection. - Troubleshooting server-side issues like DNS, email configurations, SSL, PHP errors, and database errors. - Monitoring uptime, speed, logs, and ensuring overall stability of hosting environments. - Managing Apache, NGINX, LiteSpeed, and MySQL configurations. - Collaborating with development and SEO teams for deployment and technical support. - Ensuring timely updates of WordPress, plugins, themes, and server packages. - Documenting server processes and maintaining hosting environment best practices. The required skills and qualifications for this role include: - 2 years of experience in server administration or Web Hosting Support. - Strong knowledge of cPanel/WHM, Linux servers, Apache/NGINX/LiteSpeed. - Experience with WordPress installation, optimization & troubleshooting. - Understanding of DNS, MX records, SSL installation & email setup. - Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, or similar) is a plus. - Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, FTP, SSH. - Ability to handle WordPress migrations efficiently. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
