You will be responsible for managing Airline Departure Control Systems (DCS) in the airport industry, specifically focusing on Passenger Boarding & Check-in, Flight Scheduling, and a strong understanding of PSS applications. Your key tasks will include working hands-on with DCS applications such as SITA DCS and Sabre Sonic, supporting systems for reservations, passenger check-ins & boarding, baggage check-in, and load management. Additionally, you will be required to have knowledge of printing flight load sheets, baggage reports, and Advance Passenger Information System (APIS), as well as creating and managing incidents/problems using incident management & problem management tools. To be successful in this role, you must possess a graduate degree in any stream with relevant travel experience, along with an International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification or Diploma in Travel and Tourism. It is essential to have good knowledge of the airline industry and previous experience working with DCS applications like SITA DCS and Sabre Sonic. A working knowledge of any GDS, with Sabre being preferred, is also required. Furthermore, you should be adept at working in 24 x 7 shifts, possess excellent communication skills, and have proficiency in MS Office and other standard desktop applications. Strong analytical, research, troubleshooting, and coordination skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision. You should also be capable of meeting stringent SLAs. Material Planning & Coordination - Generate and release the Material Requirement Plan (MRP) through SAP in line with the monthly production plan. - Liaise with the materials and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials to avoid production delays. - Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for subcontracted or bought-out items based on supplier lead time and planned production load. 4. Monitoring & Execution - Track the entire production cyclefrom machining to assembly to dispatchto ensure adherence to committed timelines, maintain zero customer complaints, and secure OTD performance. - Periodically review and adjust production schedules after each phase (machining, assembly, inspection) to accommodate real-time progress and prevent bottlenecks. 5. Dynamic Plan Adjustments - Revise plans proactively to accommodate workload imbalances, capacity constraints, and changes in other value streams. - Implement schedule changes in response to unforeseen disruptions such as machine breakdowns or urgent orders. 6. Why is this role required? We are looking for skilled and motivated Engineers to join our ALDC (Area Load Dispatch Centre) team. The incumbent will be responsible for the real-time monitoring, control, and management of the power distribution network (220kV/132kV/33kV) to ensure a reliable and efficient electricity supply within the licensed area. The incumbent will coordinate load scheduling & communication with the Power Purchase Team & SLDC (ALDC operation) What does this role entail? Real-time monitoring and operation of distribution network parameters through the SCADA system, including the feeders. Handling network contingencies and initiating corrective actions during abnormal conditions. Support preventive and corrective maintenance planning from an operational perspective. Load management, demand forecasting, and advanced scheduling based upon the guidelines of Power Trading & related stakeholders. Coordination and communication with the State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC), transmission utilities, and internal operation teams for system reliability as per protocol Maintain the standard operating procedures and ensure compliance as per the Grids regulations and operational guidelines. Study of the 220/132/33kV system including equipment & protection with in-built logics, ratings, etc. Study the entire downstream T&D network that is being fed from the sending point Preparation of operational reports, load data analysis (DR file data), system performance monitoring, and report to the supervisor in case of any criticality. Identify and suggest improvement measures to maintain the high efficiency of the electrical transmission and distribution system. Ensure compliance with safety standards. Coordination with SBU Heads & other internal stakeholders for smooth functioning Desired skills and competencies Experience in distribution system operations/load dispatch centre/control room operations preferred.
