Web Developer

Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic websites using modern technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.). • Develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, and apps to meet business requirements. • Build custom themes, plugins, and features for CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Drupal). • Optimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility. • Collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional web solutions. • Conduct regular website testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixes to ensure optimal performance. • Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and payment gateways where required. • Maintain up-to-date documentation of code, processes, and system architecture. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. • Experience with at least one back-end language/framework (PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.). • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.). • Knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). • Familiarity with version control tools like Git. • Good understanding of UI/UX principles and SEO-friendly coding practices. • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) • Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js. • Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS, Google Cloud) and deployment pipelines. • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for websites. • Basic graphic design skills for minor edits.
