Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining functional and visually appealing websites. Day-to-day tasks include creating and optimizing front-end and back-end systems, troubleshooting code, and ensuring website responsiveness across various devices. Collaboration with designers, project managers, and other developers will be an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including server-side scripting and database integration
• Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks
• Strong skills in Web Development and Web Design, with a focus on user experience and scalability
• Programming expertise in languages relevant to modern web development
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and search engine optimization is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
