Job Summary:

Web Designer & WordPress Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, custom post types, and customizations).
  
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize design concepts.
  
• Customize and optimize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins for performance, SEO, and scalability.
  
• Implement UI/UX best practices to deliver user-friendly and engaging digital experiences.
  
• Collaborate closely with content creators, developers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
  
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive layouts across devices.
  
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and security.
  
• Conduct regular website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
  
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in web design and WordPress development.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, IT, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  
• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress design and development.
  
• Strong proficiency in

  HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP

  .
• Advanced knowledge of WordPress (themes, plugins, and popular builders like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery).
  
• Familiarity with SEO principles, on-page optimization, and Google Analytics integration.
  
• Basic knowledge of design tools such as

  Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator

  .
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
  
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in developing and managing

  WooCommerce

  and other e-commerce platforms.
• Working knowledge of MySQL databases, hosting environments (cPanel, FTP, DNS management).
  
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git/GitHub).
  
• Knowledge of website security practices (SSL, firewalls, malware prevention).
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Experience integrating APIs, third-party services, or custom functionalities in WordPress.
