📌 Position: Content Writer – News Portal (SEO Friendly Writing)

💰 Salary: ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 per month (Based on skills & experience)

✍️ About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Content Writer who can create SEO-optimized, high-quality news articles for our news portal website. You should have a good understanding of current events, trending topics, and how to present news content in an engaging and search-friendly manner.

You’ll work closely with our editorial and SEO team to ensure that every article ranks well on search engines and provides value to the reader.

📚 Key Responsibilities:

Write and publish daily news articles (national, state, entertainment, politics, etc.)

Ensure content is SEO-friendly, using relevant keywords, meta tags, and structure

Conduct research to ensure accuracy and depth in articles

Optimize headlines, descriptions, internal linking, and readability

Follow and maintain content calendars and news timelines

Coordinate with editors and designers for visuals and layout

Update or rewrite older content for improved ranking

Maintain originality and avoid plagiarism at all times

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience:

1 to 2 years of professional content writing experience (preferably in news/media)

Strong command over English and Hindi (both preferred)

Knowledge of on-page SEO techniques

Experience with WordPress, SEO plugins (like Yoast/RankMath), and CMS handling

Ability to write headlines that are catchy yet keyword-rich

Fast writing skills with news accuracy and responsibility

Knowledge of SEO tools like Google Trends, Search Console – a big plus

🎯 Bonus/Advantage:

Prior experience in journalism, news blogging, or online portals

Understanding of Google News guidelines

Basic image editing or working with featured images/thumbnails

Knowledge of schema markup / structured content (optional)
