Role Overview

The WordPress Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic WordPress websites for corporate, product, and client-facing applications. The role involves custom theme and plugin development, system integrations, and close collaboration with UI/UX, DevOps, and backend teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites and microsites for internal projects.
  
• Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins as per business requirements.
  
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress templates.
  
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  
• Implement SEO, security, and performance optimization best practices.
  
• Manage integrations with APIs, CRMs, and analytics tools.
  
• Conduct site migrations, backups, and version control using Git.
  
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and QA teams for smooth delivery cycles.
  
• Monitor and resolve website issues in staging and production environments.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  
• Expertise in custom theme and plugin development.
  
• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, WooCommerce, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, AJAX, and headless WordPress setups.
  
• Version control experience using Git / GitLab.
  
• Knowledge of cPanel, Plesk, or cloud hosting (Azure / AWS / DigitalOcean).
  
• Understanding of security hardening, caching mechanisms, and CDN configurations.
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple WordPress projects simultaneously.
