Wax Assembly supervisor / Production supervisor

The Wax Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the wax assembly section, ensuring the accurate and timely assembly of wax patterns according to quality and production standards. As the Wax Assembly Supervisor, you will supervise a team of wax assemblers, manage workflow, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to safety and casting standards. Your key responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating all wax pattern assembly operations, ensuring accurate assembly based on design drawings and work instructions, inspecting assemblies for defects, training and mentoring technicians, maintaining equipment functionality, collaborating with other departments, maintaining production and quality records, ensuring compliance with guidelines, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a clean work area. This role requires you to supervise and coordinate all wax pattern assembly operations in accordance with production schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring that wax patterns are assembled accurately based on design drawings, trees, and work instructions. Inspecting wax assemblies for defects such as misalignment, porosity, or surface flaws and taking corrective actions will be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, you will train and mentor wax assembly technicians on proper techniques and quality standards, monitor and maintain wax equipment to ensure proper functionality, and collaborate with engineering and quality departments to address pattern or tooling issues. Maintaining accurate production and quality records, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a clean and organized work area are also essential responsibilities.
