Job Summary: The Wax Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the wax assembly section, ensuring the accurate and timely assembly of wax patterns according to quality and production standards. This role supervises a team of wax assemblers, manages workflow, maintains equipment, and ensures adherence to safety and casting standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all wax pattern assembly operations in accordance with production schedules. Ensure wax patterns are assembled accurately based on design drawings, trees, and work instructions. Inspect wax assemblies for defects such as misalignment, porosity, or surface flaws and ensure corrective actions are taken. Train and mentor wax assembly technicians on proper techniques and quality standards. Monitor and maintain wax equipment (e.g., wax welders, injection presses) to ensure proper functionality and maintenance. Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to address pattern or tooling issues. Maintain accurate production and quality records, including assembly yields and rework data. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines in the wax department. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and optimize material use. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper handling and storage of wax patterns.
