Job Summary

The Production QC cum Factory Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily factory operations while ensuring strict quality control standards for water filter plant components. The role includes live production quality checks, supervision of manpower, inspection of imported materials, and reporting overall production and quality performance to the management. The position reports directly to the General Manager.

Key ResponsibilitiesFactory Supervision

• Supervise daily factory operations and ensure smooth production flow.
• Manage shop-floor manpower, shift planning, and work allocation.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and operational discipline.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance with factory standards.

Quality Control (QC)

• Perform live production QC for PP Spun Filters to ensure consistent quality.
• Conduct quality inspection of RO Membranes imported from China upon container arrival.
• Verify raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products as per quality standards.
• Identify defects, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain QC checklists, inspection reports, and quality documentation.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly performance and quality reports to management.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and warehouse teams to resolve quality or process issues.
• Escalate critical quality or production concerns to the General Manager on time.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce rejection.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control systems.
• Hands-on experience in live production quality checks.
• Ability to handle imported material inspection and documentation.
• Good reporting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Leadership skills to manage shop-floor teams effectively.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting formats).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in water filter / RO plant / industrial component manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with PP Spun Filter production and RO membrane inspection will be a strong advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
