Warehouse Supervisor

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the finished goods warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, dispatch, transportation, and inventory management of confectionery products while maintaining hygiene standards and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily FG warehouse activities, including storage, handling, and dispatch - Ensure FIFO practices for confectionery shelf-life management - Maintain hygiene, 5S, and food-safety standards inside the warehouse - Ensure correct stacking, palletization & handling to prevent product damage - Monitor temperature-controlled storage where applicable - Responsible for accurate inventory records in WMS/ERP - Conduct daily cycle counts & monthly stock reconciliation - Monitor aging stock and manage near-expiry goods clearance - Maintain stock accuracy between physical & system inventory - Plan and oversee order preparation & timely dispatch - Check product picking accuracy, packaging & labeling - Coordinate with sales & production for dispatch schedules - Ensure proper loading and sealing of trucks to avoid product contamination or melting - Plan and schedule vehicle requirements for outbound shipments - Coordinate with transporters & ensure timely vehicle placement - Monitor vehicle cleanliness, temperature needs & compliance - Track vehicle movement & ensure timely delivery to depots/distributors - Manage freight cost optimization and transporter performance - Maintain gate pass, dispatch notes, e-way bills & invoices - Ensure compliance with food-safety, FSSAI & audit requirements - Maintain documentation for ISO, BRC, and internal audits - Supervise warehouse staff, loaders - Train team on SOP, hygiene, safety & handling methods - Ensure work discipline & work planning - Ensure safe working environment & adherence to PPE - Implement pest-control & hygiene protocols - Ensure product integrity & zero contamination Qualification Required: - Graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Commerce preferred - 3-7 years experience in food/confectionery FG warehouse operations - Experience in FMCG preferred Please note that the additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.,
