Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor – LVP (Large Volume Parenterals)

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor – LVP is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical materials in accordance with GDP, GMP, and company procedures. The role focuses on operational excellence, accurate inventory management, and adherence to all regulatory and EHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including material receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch.
  • Ensure all warehouse tasks are executed as per approved SOPs, GMP norms, and quality standards.
  • Oversee material movement to support production schedules and dispatch timelines.

2. Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate and real-time inventory in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Conduct periodic stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and ensure variances are investigated and resolved.
  • Monitor near-expiry, non-moving, and rejected stock and coordinate appropriate action.

3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and EHS standards across all warehouse operations.
  • Maintain all required documentation: GRNs, logs, temperature records, stock registers, and material movement sheets.
  • Ensure proper labeling, status segregation, and traceability of materials.

4. Storage & Handling of Materials

  • Ensure materials are stored in designated areas with proper temperature, humidity, and environmental controls.
  • Supervise handling of LVP materials, raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Monitor pest control, housekeeping, and hygiene in storage areas.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Procurement, and Dispatch teams for timely material flow.
  • Plan and schedule shipments based on production and customer requirements.
  • Support internal/external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring warehouse readiness.

6. Team Supervision & Training

  • Supervise warehouse assistants/operators and ensure proper distribution of work.
  • Provide training on SOPs, safety practices, and quality compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP principles and warehouse best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical storage requirements (temperature-controlled storage, segregation).
  • Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage teams and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Work Conditions

  • Warehouse environment with physical material handling supervision.
  • Must follow PPE, safety practices, and hygiene standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
