Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operations Management:
Direct daily activities like receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Staff Leadership:
Recruit, train, schedule, motivate, and manage warehouse teams.
Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels, conduct counts, reconcile data, and ensure accuracy.
Safety & Compliance:
Implement and enforce health, safety, security protocols, and relevant legislation.
Logistics Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and transport companies for smooth goods flow.
Process Improvement:
Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficiency.
Reporting:
Generate performance reports, track KPIs, and manage budgets.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven leadership & team management.
Strong understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of supply chain/logistics.
Experience with equipment like forklifts.
