Warehouse Inbound Trainee

Key responsibilities

As an inbound trainee, your primary focus is on the crucial receiving and storage phase of warehouse operations.

Receiving and inspection

Unloading: Assist in unloading trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles when shipments arrive.

Verification: Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders or shipping documents to verify the accuracy of the contents, quantity, and quality.

Inspection: Inspect all goods for any damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to a supervisor.

Documentation: Help process and complete the necessary paperwork for incoming stock.

Processing and storage

Sorting: Sort and organize incoming products based on type, size, and destination.

Labeling: Apply proper labels and barcodes to all items for inventory tracking.

Put away: Move received goods to their designated storage locations using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, if certified.

Inventory control: Learn and assist with using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software to record and update inventory accurately.

Technical skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), computer skills ( VLOOKUP & Pivot Table) Mandatory, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment are often needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
