As an Executive (L6) in Warehousing at Tata Motors Finance, your main responsibility will be to oversee warehouse operations in order to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality materials to the manufacturing department while optimizing available resources. Your key responsibilities will include managing inbound material receipt, storage, and issuing based on production plans, ensuring timely availability of materials at consumption points, implementing lean inventory management methodologies such as JIS/JIT/Kanban, designing layouts and material flow solutions for both regular and new projects, maintaining necessary documentation for legal compliance and audits, spearheading continuous improvement initiatives through kaizen practices, effectively planning and utilizing warehouse space, promoting safe material handling practices, managing inventory including receipt, storage, issuance, and obsolescence, collaborating with Supply Chain Management to minimize non-moving/obsolete materials, ensuring delivery of quality parts while maximizing green packaging, adhering to safety practices and compliance, contributing to the preparation of annual Warehousing Revenue Budget and Capex requirements, and minimizing material handling damage costs. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma or Equivalent Graduate degree along with a B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical, possess 3-8 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with at least 2 years specifically in Warehousing Operations, and demonstrate skills in driving execution, customer centricity, leading change, operations management, business and financial acumen, problem-solving, and risk management. Additionally, knowledge of JIT, Kaizen, legal compliance, SCM, material handling, and auditing will be advantageous.
