Job Description

Oversee daily warehouse activities such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records, do regular stock checks, and resolve any discrepancies.
Plan and organize space to use the warehouse efficiently and keep areas clean and audit-ready.
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, customers, and internal departments for timely deliveries and pickups.
Supervise and train warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor productivity and attendance.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards and enforce standard operating procedures.
Monitor equipment and coordinate basic maintenance or repair to avoid disruption.
Prepare routine reports on stock, movements, damages, and performance for management.

Skills and qualifications

Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and basic logistics concepts.
Ability to work with ERP/WMS or basic inventory software, and good Excel/computer skills.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management.
Team handling skills, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure or in shifts.
Usually a diploma/degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in warehousing is often required.
