Warehouse Assistant / Executive

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible to control the flow of product stock, monitor goods in and out, ensure safe and efficient movement and handle items and maintain stock records. Safe Package, storing & stacking stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse.

Loading and unloading

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

• Verify DC (Delivery Challan) with invoice.
• (Confirm MRP- , Item wise, Quantity date, signature etc.) & Verify Physically.
• Verify and report to customer and sales man about short items & Load priority wise

Purchase

• Maintain record of received purchase order.
• Ensure proper space allocation against purchase order.
• Ensure purchase order with unloaded purchase invoice items (Confirm MRP- , Item wise, Quantity, date, signature etc.)
• Prepare unloading voucher with signature. (Confirm vehicle no, driver name, license no, signature).
• Arrange, allocate & Stack material -item wise.
• Check and inform packing slip. In case of gift items, vouchers, catalogues, note pads etc...

Sales return

Ensure Sales invoice against sales return as per policy.

Preparing return slip, replace the return material in allocated space.

Purchase return

Ensure purchase invoice against purchase return as per policy.

Identification of stock

• Sort, stack with labeling or product sample, organize and store inventory in proper rack.
• Identify stock base on material value and position of stock.
• Maintain minimum stock as per the demand of product brand wise.

Inventory Maintenance

• Maintain the age wise stock as per slow moving, dead stock, fast moving and present trend.
• Replace the outdated displayed items to go down-allocated space after confirmation with Sales Manager.
• Maintain damaged material separately.
• Report the damaged stock details to admin manager.
• Ensure the settlement of damaged stock.
• Ensure removal of damaged items from go down.

Display arrangements

• Visit and support showroom for display arrangement.
• Maintain and update new samples report to Sales Manager, project coordinator and customer.

Against order and reservation

• Maintain against order, in-out register & allocate to separate space.
• Maintain reservation in-out register.

Report Preparation

• Prepare daily stock, inward & outward report (brand, wise, quantity, & type of transport), stock movement, loading & unloading report.
• Prepare daily damage and insurance report.
• Warehouse maintenance report as per requirement.
• Prepare Against order report in-out item segregate with pending-date wise.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• School Matriculation qualification or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, stacking & inventory control.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shifting stock & frequently lift and carry materials.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
