Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock audits, and resolving discrepancies.
• Warehouse Operations:Overseeing the efficient flow of goods, including receiving, storage, and dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Safety and Compliance:Enforcing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a secure working environment.
• Logistics Coordination:Collaborating with suppliers, shipping companies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Process Improvement:Identifying areas for improvement in warehouse processes, implementing best practices, and optimizing warehouse layout.
• Reporting and Analysis:Generating reports on warehouse activities, performance metrics, and inventory levels, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
• Equipment and Facility Management:Ensuring warehouse equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse procedures, and logistics operations.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in using warehouse management systems and MS Office.
• Attributes: Proactive, attention to detail, strong computer skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Education: Minimum 12th grade or equivalent experience and certifications.
