WANTED MRD INCHARGE

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all activities of the Medical Records Department.
• Maintain, update, and secure all inpatient and outpatient medical records.
• Ensure timely filing, retrieval, and archiving of medical records.
• Monitor and verify completeness of patient records before filing.
• Coordinate with doctors and departments for completion of discharge summaries and reports.
• Implement and ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and legal requirements related to medical records.
• Manage indexing, numbering, and digital record-keeping systems.
• Prepare statistical and analytical reports (admissions, discharges, deaths, etc.).
• Supervise MRD staff and allocate daily work.
• Handle medico-legal case documentation and coordinate with legal authorities when required.
• Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient-related information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Records Management, Health Information Management, or equivalent.
• Certification in Health Information Management preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MRD, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals preferred.
