The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in end-to-end accounting processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with international accounting standards. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills and the ability to adapt to evolving financial regulations and market trends. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance. General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Post and review journal entries, adjustments, and accruals. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budgetary performance and recommend corrective actions as needed. Compliance and Audit: Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations. Implement necessary changes to accounting practices to maintain compliance. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and systems. Lead initiatives to implement best practices and improve efficiency. Team Collaboration: Mentor and support junior accounting staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives. Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, or CPA is highly preferred. Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles. Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Attributes Experience in the IT or technology services industry.
