Walk-in For Mechanical Engineer

• Have basic understanding of P&ID and is able to read heat and mass balance diagrams.
• Has basic understanding in pretreatment, filtration and post treatment
• Review & Approve P&IDs and provide mark ups per project specification and mass balance diagram.
• Review P&IDs customer tagging or international tagging requirements, ex. KKS tagging
• Fully understand the requirement and impact of heat & mass balance diagram and interpret on P&ID line flows.
• Perform sanity checks of P&IDs w.r.t. pressure, flow, storage level requirements, MOC detailing, dosing studies, product fact checks such as membrane details.
• Review & Approve sizing and velocity check calculations
• Ensure correctness of P&ID and incorporate as sold requirements to customer on the P&IDs w.r.t to proposal engineering.
• Ensure correctness, verify and cross check process projection calculations , ex membrane tank sizing, blower capacity and sizing, air for mixing requirements
• Review & Approve equipment list along with equipment weight calculations.

Must-Have” Skills:

1. Independently prepare & review the equipment sizing for static & rotatic equipment and specialty items w.r.t to approved PFD & HMBD.
2. Independently execute the entire cycle of the equipment packages (as loose ship equipment or assembled equipment and skids) from basic engineering to Hand-overing to client.
3. Independently work with sourcing team and sub-vendors and able to negotiate with sub-vendors to extract all the approved vendor documents on time with quality.
4. Able to understand the expectation or support with Field Service Team (FSR) for installation & commissioning
5. Accountable for monitor & control project matrixes like schedule, budgets
6. Independently participate in customer meeting, third party vendor meeting, Client’s engineering consultant meeting, regions/regional sub-vendors meeting at various project milestones
7. Accountable for the detailed engineering at an overall project level and resolve customer comments, installation and commissioning comments. Display trouble shooting skills.
8. Able to influence the inter-discipline teams and internal/external project stakeholders for extracting deliverables on-time with quality.
9. Able to execute multiple packages / projects simultaneously
10. Be ready to work on the second shift and travel to customer locations or project sites.
