Key Roles & Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE / Cambridge / International Frameworks).
  
• Implement student-centered, inquiry-based, and experiential learning methodologies.
  
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
  
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Integrate technology effectively into classroom teaching.
  

Curriculum & Assessment

• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment tools as per curriculum requirements.
  
• Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and student portfolios.
  
• Participate in curriculum planning, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Ensure alignment with international best practices and academic standards.
  

Student Development & Wellbeing

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  
• Identify learning difficulties and collaborate with SEN/counseling teams where required.
  
• Mentor and guide students in academic and personal growth.
  

Classroom & Behavior Management

• Establish and maintain positive classroom discipline.
  
• Encourage respectful behavior and responsible citizenship.
  
• Promote values such as integrity, empathy, collaboration, and global awareness.
  

Parent & Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and student wellbeing.
  
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, orientations, and school events.
  
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership.
  

Professional Development

• Engage in ongoing professional learning and training.
  
• Reflect on teaching practices and implement feedback for improvement.
  
• Stay updated with international education trends and teaching methodologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant academic qualification in the subject area.
  
• Teaching certification / B.Ed / International Teaching Certification (preferred).
  
• Experience in international or progressive school environments (preferred).
  
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
