Job Description

We are looking for attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our South Indian restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong knowledge (or willingness to learn) about South Indian cuisine, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating. Present menus, explain South Indian dishes, and take accurate food and drink orders. Provide suggestions and recommendations to guests unfamiliar with South Indian cuisine (e.g., dosa varieties, idli, vada, thali, etc.). Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously. Monitor tables and attend to customers’ needs throughout their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area before, during, and after service. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and inform the supervisor when necessary. Process bills and handle cash/card transactions accurately. Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards. Qualifications and Skills:Previous experience as a waiter/waitress (preferred). Familiarity with South Indian cuisine or willingness to learn. Good communication skills in English and [local language if applicable]. patient, and customer-service oriented. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
