Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in software testing and validation to a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside a passionate and collaborative team of professionals.You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software solutions, contributing to the development of innovative rail transport systems. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business, including software architects, hardware designers, and RAMS departments, while mentoring team members and supporting peer reviews.Youll specifically take care of testing software modules in accordance with Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and industry standards, but also contribute to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture.Well look to you for:
Testing and proving software modules as per their SIL levels
Applying software processes and standards required for testing, such as CMMI
Preparing requirement-based test cases and executing them
Conducting software module integration and functional testing
Highlighting design issues and collaborating with lead engineers to implement solutions
Mentoring team members and supporting their development

Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Engineering IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent
46 years of experience in software testing, particularly for embedded/RTOS applications
Knowledge of testing techniques like black-box, white-box, equivalence class, boundary value analysis, and robustness analysis
Experience with tools like VectorCast, RTRT, and static analysis tools such as QAC or PCLint
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and ADA, along with scripting languages like Python
Understanding of software design methodologies like SADT, OOPS, and UML
Familiarity with source code configuration management tools like ClearCase, Synergy, or CVS
Knowledge of industry standards like CENELEC SIL4 or DO-178
Strong communication skills and the ability to guide and mentor team members
Experience in transport domains (ATS, IXL, ATC) or related industries is a plus
