V.P - Procurement

As a V.P - Procurement at Sulzer's FE_Energy team in India, you will be leading a team of 60+ members handling various components such as castings, forging, machining, drives (Motors, turbines, etc.), Seal, system, Instruments, UCP, VFD, LOS, fabrication, and other engineered components. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and supervising the team to ensure efficient handling of procurement activities - Monitoring the timely release of Purchase Orders (PO) and Letter of Authorization (LOA) to suppliers - Ensuring timely receipt of required documents for further submission to customers - Monitoring the progress of document approvals and escalating issues promptly to ensure on-time delivery - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Project Management, Operations, PPC, QC, Finance, etc.) to achieve desired outcomes To excel in this role, you should have: - 20+ years of work experience in procurement - Experience in the oil & gas API pumps industry is preferred - Good exposure to Non-API markets like power, chemical, and boiler feed applications - Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment - Strong customer service orientation and dedication to supporting internal customer requirements - Experience with SAP ERP system would be advantageous In addition to a challenging role, Sulzer offers you: - 22 vacation days, 9 casual leave days, 8 sick leave days, and 13 festival holidays - Defined contribution pension scheme - Hospitalization insurance benefits - On-site car parking - Subsidized cafeteria - Long service award Unfortunately, visa or work permit support cannot be provided for this position.
